Wine Jelly Buttermilk Pie


  •             1 ½ cups buttermilk
  •             ¾ cup sugar
  •             ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  •             ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  •             5 large egg yolks
  •             1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
  •             ¼ tsp. kosher salt
  •             9 in. pie crust
  •             ½ cup Wine Jelly
  •             ¼ cup toasted sliced almonds


  1. Whisk together buttermilk, sugar, butter, flour, egg yolks, vanilla, and salt. Pour into the pie crust and bake at 325 degrees F until the center is set but still slightly wobbly (about 40 to 50 minutes).
  2. Let cool, then chill until firm (4-5hrs).
  3. Top with Wine Jelly and almonds.
